Work is in full swing but I didn’t forget about my blog! As I write this I can feel my bloodstream slowly turning into a steady stream of coffee. I forgot that working 9-5 is exhausting! I’m also on a eat-the-hell-whatever-I-want diet because I don’t there is so many good places to eat around my office and apartment. Plus I walk everywhere so I can treat myself!
I haven’t really had a lot of time to explore the city, but I am quickly realizing that I will have to get used to walking in the rain. I can’t decide which is worse yet – snow in Boston or rain in Seattle. At times I miss bundling up because I have recently discovered the wonders of layering, but I like that my hands don’t freeze off the minute I walk out the door. However, walking to work with soggy pants does not make me a happy camper. Is there a city in this country that doesn’t get excessive precipitation but isn’t a desert?
I am moving into a new apartment tonight so hopefully that goes over well. I’m a little apprehensive about living by myself for the rest of my time here because my social life isn’t exactly blooming even while living with two locals… I am half skeptical that this whole deal is some kind of scam and I will show up with my two huge suitcases to an abandoned building… Oh well!
Just gotta keep moving forward!

I hope you enjoy Boston. Used to live there and I really miss it!
Good luck with the move!!!!
Thank you! Seattle has been great so far!
I thought you’re in Boston when I read your About — oops
No problem! I am originally from Boston, but I am in Seattle for 6 months!
Ahhhh, got it. I’ve only been to Seattle once and it was fantastic. But Boston will always be my second home
Enjoy your 6 months there — sounds like a great opportunity!
Thank you!
